    What Is The RENEW Program?

The Recurrence Education Network and Empowerment Workshop (RENEW) is more than a treatment program – it’s a comprehensive support system designed to help you navigate the nuances of your recovery:

    • Individual Therapy: Twice a-week sessions for 50 minutes each, focusing on recovery principles and co-occurring mental health issues
    • Art Therapy: A weekly session harnessing creative expression
    • Primary Group: Five times a week, engaging in 75-minute open dialogues focused on the present moment and cultivating emotional vulnerability
    • Recovery Support Group: Four times a week, drawing upon 12-step, AA, and NA principles and evidence-based care
    • RENEW Group: A tailored curriculum three times per week covering vital topics like resilience, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), relapse prevention, and more.[1]
    • Community Reintegration: Involvement in offsite support group meetings, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), for a seamless post-treatment transition and continued support in aftercare programs for long-term recovery

Who Is The RENEW Program For?

RENEW is designed for anyone who grapples with post-treatment sobriety, cravings, and other challenges associated with relapse. The program caters to those who have undergone multiple treatment programs yet continue to struggle with substance use. It offers specialized support and intensive focus to address unique struggles and equip you or a loved one with the tools needed to treat the cycle of chronic relapse and enjoy sustained recovery.

What Are The Criteria For The Renew Program At Wellbridge?

The RENEW program at Wellbridge is specially designed for people who have encountered persistent challenges in maintaining sobriety outside of the treatment facility environment. It caters to those who require a more intensive focus to address their unique needs and barriers to recovery.

Loved One Involvement: Each RENEW member must have someone in their life involved in their treatment. This person can be anyone who is supportive of their ongoing sobriety. They will be kept updated on the individual’s progress and have conjoint family sessions.

Patients in the RENEW program are expected to maintain active involvement for a minimum of 28 days (or the duration covered by their insurance). This commitment ensures a sustained focus on recovery and allows ample time for progress and healing.

Members of the RENEW program also agree to collaborate closely with our continuing care team to shape their aftercare plans. This commitment extends beyond the program’s duration, facilitating a smooth transition and providing ongoing support to safeguard against relapse.
