Justine Brown, LCAT, ATR-BC, ATCS, CASAC-2 is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Board-Certified Art Therapist, Art Therapy Certified Supervisor, and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor who brings 15 years of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, trauma-informed care, clinical leadership, and program development to her work at Wellbridge. As part of the Creative Arts Therapy and Wellness Department, Justine provides clinical art therapy and experiential interventions grounded in trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTQIA+-affirming care. She integrates somatic and nervous system-informed approaches, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to help individuals reconnect with their bodies, develop an internal sense of safety, and build the emotional regulation and resilience needed for sustainable recovery. Justine provides specialized programming within Wellbridge’s RENEW program for individuals experiencing chronic relapses and LGBTQIA+ programming. She also facilitates specialized small-group interventions focused on trauma recovery, somatic awareness, and emotional regulation. Her clinical interests include trauma, chronic relapse, neurodivergence, identity, and the intersection of creativity and mind-body approaches in helping individuals build meaningful, connected lives in recovery.
