As VP, Operations at Wellbridge, Kevin is responsible for maintaining a superior standard of patient care across all aspects of the healthcare organization, including technology, facilities and food services. Since 2016, as part of the strategic planning process, Kevin has managed the partner relationship between Wellbridge and Northwell Health. He will continue with this responsibility to ensure that the synergies and benefits across the organizations are leveraged for patient care.
Prior to joining Wellbridge, he was with Northwell as the Senior Director of Venture Operations driving portfolio and health system growth. Kevin was instrumental in bringing a 3D Design and Innovation Lab to fruition, which led to the development of an amphibious prosthetic device to assist amputees to swim. Kevin also led internal operations for Northwell Ventures, facilitating its growth from 5 to 20+ employees. He first joined Northwell in an operational role under the Office of the Chief Nurse Executive where he oversaw strategic nursing initiatives including a multimillion-dollar project to centralize telemetry at multiple hospitals.
Kevin holds a degree in Economics from Binghamton University and earned his MBA with Distinction in Health Services Management from Hofstra University. He brings his passion for new ventures and innovation to volunteer efforts. He is a mentor and coach to prospective Hofstra students and a judge in several startup and healthcare competitions, including the New York State Opioid Epidemic Innovation Challenge at Columbia University.
