As the Food Service Director, John Taylor brings his passion for farm-to-table food to the Wellbridge culinary team. He crafts healthy and balanced menus with the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients which are free of additives and chemicals. In addition, John ensures eco-friendly culinary practices are adhered to in the kitchen. John believes that food is vital for healing and puts that belief into every meal he serves.
John is a seasoned Executive Chef with 25+ years’ experience in diverse culinary settings such as fine cuisine restaurants, private catering facilities, top-tier hotels, and healthcare facilities. This experience has nurtured an understanding of the importance of food for celebration, for culture, and for emotional and physical wellbeing.
John studied Culinary Art and Food Service Management at Johnson and Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island. He also mastered the art of preparing traditional Italian Sunday meals in his grandmother’s kitchen. John has proficient knowledge to support a wide range of dietary needs such as kosher, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and raw food preparation.
