Christina McMahon, MS, CASAC-M, ICADC is a credentialed master counselor with extensive training and experience in treating patients with substance use disorder and their families. Christina began her career as a high school special education teacher in a high-needs school district on Long Island. Seeing the generational effect of addiction and alcoholism within family systems while working in the education field, Christina found a new passion and became a credentialed addiction professional through the New York State Office of Addiction Supports and Services.
Prior to joining Wellbridge, Christina served in clinical, supervisory and leadership roles at other programs. As the Director of Access Services at Wellbridge, her priority goal has been to reduce barriers and increase patient access to life-saving treatment.
Christina holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
