As a result, Wellbridge is creating the solutions that will finally liberate our patients, their loved ones and, someday soon, people everywhere from the trials of addiction.
How it started
Andrew Drazan, Co-founder and CEO of Wellbridge, grew up on Long Island with his brothers. Their mother, a divorced single mom, struggled with depression. She eventually succumbed to the devastation of alcohol and drug use brought on by her depression. This tragic loss at such a young age profoundly marked him. What he wanted from Wellbridge was to go far beyond existing addiction resources. The best care? That goes without saying. But he also wanted to build a community of the best researchers and scientists, not just nearby the treatment facility but actually onsite so there is a continuous, back-and-forth effort with Clinicians to develop new treatment approaches.

Northwell Health is New York State’s largest private employer and largest healthcare provider with 23 hospitals, nearly 700 outpatient locations, more than 18,500 affiliated physicians, the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and the Hofstra Northwell School of Graduate Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies. Engel Burman is a NY-based full-service real estate firm with extensive experience developing, building, and operating assisted living, active adult, and multifamily communities.
