Wearing of masks by patients, staff and visitors will be strictly enforced at all times.
All visitors will be verbally screened for COVID-19 symptoms and must follow CDC disease-prevention guidelines including social distancing, hand sanitizing and the wearing of masks.
All employees will receive daily verbal screening and asked to keep a log. Any positive screens are escalated and will initiate a full evaluation.
Patients or employees suspected of infection with COVID-19 will be isolated and cared for by employees with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Cases requiring more serious care will be taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, located 9 miles from Wellbridge.
All individual treatment sessions will require social distancing and wearing of masks.
Patient and family education programs will emphasize protective measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Standard cleaning and disinfection procedures will be followed between patient sessions, on all frequently touched surfaces and at the end of every day.
Dining, nutrition, and food services will follow all CDC prevention protocols including hand sanitizing, social distancing, and single-use items, where applicable.
All shipments will be dropped off at curbside and contents removed before entering the building.
