COVID-19 Protocol
- Prominent signage throughout the campus provides CDC guidelines and actions to prevent disease.
- Due to CDC-directed COVID-19 prevention guidelines, some amenities may not be available at this time.
- Wearing of masks by patients, staff and visitors will be strictly enforced at all times.
- All visitors will be verbally screened for COVID-19 symptoms and must follow CDC disease-prevention guidelines including social distancing, hand sanitizing and the wearing of masks.
- All employees will receive daily verbal screening and asked to keep a log. Any positive screens are escalated and will initiate a full evaluation.
- Patients or employees suspected of infection with COVID-19 will be isolated and cared for by employees with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Cases requiring more serious care will be taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, located 9 miles from Wellbridge.
- All individual treatment sessions will require social distancing and wearing of masks.
- Patient and family education programs will emphasize protective measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
- Standard cleaning and disinfection procedures will be followed between patient sessions, on all frequently touched surfaces and at the end of every day.
- Dining, nutrition, and food services will follow all CDC prevention protocols including hand sanitizing, social distancing, and single-use items, where applicable.
- All shipments will be dropped off at curbside and contents removed before entering the building.
